Administrator's (root) password

The administrator's password is a very important part of your system's security, because the administrator (root) has very wide privileges. When a password is entered, it is evaluated for security. A password should be long enough and contain symbols of various types: capital and small letters, digits and punctuation marks. When the password is chosen, asterisks (*) are displayed on the screen instead of the actual symbols. In order to avoid mis-typing your password, you are required to enter it twice.
